Cooper Mountain is closed for the day after high winds caused a power line to go down on the mountain, resulting in a loss of electricity. For safety reasons, all access to the mountain has been suspended, including uphill travel.

The local energy company has been notified and is expected to assess the situation, but at this time there is no estimated timeline for repairs or reopening. Mountain operations will remain paused until power is restored and conditions are deemed safe.

Guests and staff are asked to stay tuned for further updates as more information becomes available. Safety remains the top priority, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this unexpected closure.
