[UPDATE] The Bureau of Land Management has postponed controlled burns north of Buena Vista, near Mt. Harvard Estates.

Weather is not conducive to burning at this time.

The burns will be located 5.5 miles north of BV, a half mile east of Highway 24, and immediately northeast of the Mt. Harvard Estates subdivision.

About 1,250 hand built slash piles will be burned.  The controlled burn will most likely coincide with the next significant snowfall.
