The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin bridge replacement operations today on U.S. 285 through South Park.
The work will require a three month full closure of Highway 285 from Antero Junction to Fairplay. A detour will be set up using Colorado 9 and Highway 24.
Travelers will encounter single lane closures beginning today and continuing through July 17. Starting in August, the full detour will be in place through October.
