The Justice and Advocacy Committee at First Presbyterian Church in Salida will host a community forum titled “Immigration 101” later this month.

The event will feature immigrant stories and discussions aimed at exploring common myths and increasing understanding about immigration issues.

The forum will take place March 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 7 Poncha Blvd. in Salida.

Organizers say the event is intended to provide an open and welcoming space for community members to learn, listen, and engage in conversation. Admission is free, and child care will be available for those who attend.

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome.
