The Colorado marijuana industry has a record breaking 2021 with over $2.2 billion in sales.
The state Revenue Department is reporting that the new milestone follows a trend that’s grown since marijuana sales started in 2014. Each year has welcomed higher numbers.
In total, Colorado has sold more than $12 billion in marijuana over the past 8 years. Last year, the state received over $423 million in tax and fee revenue.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
