The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission voted 10-1 last night to proceed with the gray wolf reintroduction program, denying a petition from ranchers to pause the effort.
Plans include capturing up to 15 wolves from British Columbia this summer and releasing them in Colorado as part of the state’s gray wolf restoration initiative.
