The Colorado Department of Human Services announced that residents may begin receiving their full November SNAP food assistance benefits as early as today, following ongoing federal efforts to reopen government operations.
According to the department, the state is working quickly to distribute 100% of November SNAP payments to roughly 600,000 Coloradans who rely on the program. Officials say the goal is to ensure households experience as little disruption as possible during the federal transition.
SNAP participants who previously signed up for text notifications can expect to receive an official update from the state in the coming days confirming the release of funds.
