Colorado Lawmakers To Discuss COVID-19 Relief

For the second time this year, Colorado lawmakers will meet to discuss Covid-19 relief during a special legislative session.   

The special session begins today and will last for three days.   

Governor Jared Polis has outlined seven aspects he would like the state legislature to cover:  

  • Small business relief
  • Child care support 
  • Housing and rental assistance 
  • Increasing broadband access 
  • Food insecurity 
  • Utilities assistance  
  • Public Health response 

The regular session of the state legislature is set to begin January 13th.
