Colorado Farm to Table is inviting the community to a field cleaning this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Available crops include broccoli, cabbage, and squash. This free event is open to the public, with produce ideal for blanching and freezing, dry storage, or fermenting for the winter.
The fields are located on Highway 291 just past the hospital. Participants are encouraged to bring a knife for cutting broccoli and cabbage, along with bags, wagons, or a wheelbarrow to haul vegetables from the field. No dogs, please.
