Colorado DMV Systems Down Due to Planned Revenue Department Outage

A planned outage by the Colorado Department of Revenue has shut down Division of Motor Vehicles systems statewide, temporarily blocking access to all DMV services.

Both in-person and online services are unavailable today as the state implements upgrades to its driver’s license and motor vehicle systems. In the days following the outage, Coloradans may experience limited access while offices transition to the updated technology.

State officials expect all DMV online services to resume tomorrow.
