The City of Salida invites community members to celebrate the opening of Cleora Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. at 6303 Cleora Road in the Confluent Park development.
The ceremony will mark the completion and opening of this new neighborhood park designed to provide residents and visitors with opportunities for recreation, gathering, and connection with nature.
Situated on approximately 1.24 acres, Cleora Park balances active and natural spaces. Approximately one-third of the park is dedicated to turf grass for recreation and community use, while the remaining two-thirds features native grasses and sustainable landscaping that supports water conservation and enhances local habitat. The park incorporates natural play features that encourage imaginative outdoor recreation as well as a covered pavilion, soft-surface walking path, drinking fountain, five picnic tables, and ADA accessible sidewalks.
