City of Salida Announces $15,000 Match to Support Local Food Security Efforts

In response to rising food insecurity in our community, the City of Salida has stepped up to help. The City will match every dollar donated to the Chaffee County Community Foundation’s Emergency Response Fund (ERF), up to $15,000, to strengthen local food access efforts.

That means your gift goes twice as far to support organizations working to ensure everyone in Chaffee County has access to healthy, affordable food.
