Chaffee County Public Health is reminding us that as fall creeps in, so does respiratory illness season.
Chaffee Health says they have been paying close attention to trends and predictions related to influenza and RSV, and are acutely aware that there has been a steady stream of Covid cases making its way throughout the county over the last few months.
An influenza vaccination clinic will be held September 27th at the Buena Vista Community Center and October 3rd in Salida in the Touber Building.
A new Covid vaccine booster is on the way and Public Health anticipates having it available the first of October. An announcement will be made when it’s available.
