Chaffee Gives Day shattered previous fundraising records this year, as residents rallied to support local nonprofits in unprecedented numbers. On December 9, a total of 2,259 donors contributed $769,000 to benefit 96 community causes—a remarkable jump from last year’s total of $453,000.

Betsy Dittenber, Executive Director of the Chaffee County Community Foundation, said she continues to be inspired by the region’s generosity.

“The generosity of this community continues to astound me. Seeing the growth in both new donors and dollars reminds us that this movement of caring and giving is alive, growing, and stronger than ever,” Dittenber said.

She added that Chaffee Gives Day extends far beyond a single annual event.

“Chaffee Gives is more than a single day of giving. The platform is a year-round resource, allowing donors to support local causes anytime or set up monthly gifts to sustain organizations throughout the year.”

The record-setting totals highlight the community’s deep commitment to strengthening vital services and programs across Chaffee County.
