Chaffee County’s annual day of giving returns tomorrow, and organizers say the community is already showing record generosity. Thanks to early donations, nearly $575,000 has been raised so far for local nonprofits, the highest early total in the event’s history.
The Chaffee Community Foundation is encouraging residents to join the effort at ChaffeeGives.org, noting that every contribution helps sustain programs that support families, strengthen community services, and protect the local environment. Donations made through the site also help nonprofits qualify for Colorado Gives Day incentive prizes, stretching each gift even further.
More than 80 local organizations are participating this year, offering residents plenty of opportunities to support causes close to home.v bn
