Salida, CO – Chaffee County Women Who Care (CCWWC) is thrilled to announce its 2026 meeting schedule and invites new members to join a dynamic group of women committed to making a positive impact in the local community.

CCWWC’s quarterly meetings for 2026 will take place on the following Tuesdays:

· January 13th – Cornerstone Church, Buena Vista

· April 14th – A Church, Salida

· July 14th – Cornerstone Church, Buena Vista

· October 13th – A Church, Salida

To ensure inclusivity for all Chaffee County members, meetings are alternated between Buena Vista and Salida. Each gathering begins with a Networking/Social time at 5:00 PM, followed by the program starting at 5:30 PM.

Chaffee County Women Who Care exists to bring together compassionate women in the community to support local nonprofits through collaborative philanthropy. Together, members are making a meaningful difference for organizations and individuals across Chaffee County.

During the January 13th meeting in Buena Vista, members will hear presentations from three nonprofit organizations serving Chaffee County. Jane’s Place, Chaffee Cares, and Buena Vista Heritage Museum will each have five minutes to present and five minutes to answer questions from CCWWC members about how funding will be used.

“One of the things I value most about Chaffee County Women Who Care is the respect for both time and impact,” said Sandy Visnack, CCWWC Steering Committee Member. “Our meetings are intentionally designed to be efficient and meaningful. We commit to a one-hour program, and we honor that commitment. Nonprofit presenters are well prepared, members ask thoughtful questions, and every organization gains something valuable from the experience.”

Visnack added, “Even when a nonprofit is not selected for funding, they still have the opportunity to share their mission and impact with a large group of women who are deeply invested in the future of Chaffee County.”

New Members Welcome! We are always looking for new members to expand our group and deepen our impact. Volunteers are also welcome at quarterly meetings to assist with registration, food and beverage preparation and serving, as well as event setup and takedown.
