Chaffee County Public Health is reporting 6 new Covid-19 cases in the last 7 days, 12 in the last 14 days, for a 2-week positivity rate of 1.27 percent.

Colorado has moved to Phase 1B.4 on the Covid-19 vaccinations and Chaffee County Public Health has added to its Covid-19 vaccination schedule.

Phase 1B.4 includes individuals 50 and older, frontline workers in higher education, food service, manufacturing, U.S. Postal Service, public transport, public health, human services, faith leaders, those providing direct care to the homeless, journalists, local and state government, and people 16-49 with designated high-risk conditions.

Chaffee Public Health has added slots to this week’s clinics and a third clinic is now scheduled for Thursday.  Because next week’s clinic schedule is light due to Spring Break, those who fall within 1B.4 may schedule for their first dose on this day.

All Coloradans should be eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine by mid-April.
