The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office has released statistics for April, reporting:
– 79 new inmates booked at the Detention Center
– Patrol deputies handled 1,382 calls for service
– made 37 arrests—including seven for DUI—
– issued 258 citations from 399 traffic stops.
Dispatchers answered 2,979 calls, including 547 to 911, 205 ambulance calls, and 252 fire calls.
