Chaffee County Public Health’s current order stands through April 30th.
The local order supersedes the state order, which goes through April 26th. All current guidelines are still in effect in Chaffee County until the end of April.
Guidance documents on the first phase or reopening are being finalized and should be available to the public this afternoon.
As a reminder, Safer at Home still requires all residents to follow strict social distancing guidelines.
Chaffee County Public Health says that if we do not follow this health and safety guidance, it is very possible that will have to tighten control measures once again to protect the population.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
