In their weekly update, Chaffee County Public Health is reporting 9 new Covid-19 cases in the last 7 days, 38 in the last 14 days, for a 2-week positivity rate of 3.29 percent.
Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center currently has 1 Covid-19 patient and is at 60 percent capacity.
To date, just over 19,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered to Chaffee County residents. 60 percent of Chaffee County residents have received one dose of the vaccine, 54 percent have been fully immunized.
The state’s goal is to have 75 percent of the population vaccinated by July 4th.
