Chaffee County Expands Access to Women’s Health Services

Chaffee County Public Health has launched two new women’s health programs aimed at reducing barriers to contraception and supporting informed family planning decisions.

One of the programs, Birth Control for You, is a statewide initiative that helps eligible Coloradans under the age of 24 access free and confidential sexual health services.

The second program, Choose When, provides financial assistance for long-acting reversible contraception for individuals facing barriers to care.

In addition to these new offerings, Chaffee County Public Health continues to provide free STI testing through walk-in clinics—held in Salida on Mondays and in Buena Vista on Tuesdays.
