The Chaffee County Community Foundation, in partnership with the City of Salida, Chaffee County, The Colorado Trust, and El Pomar Foundation, has launched Phase 2 of the Food Access Grant.

The funding opportunity is designed to support community-driven solutions that strengthen food access infrastructure and systems across Chaffee County over the next 12 months.

A total of up to $200,000 will be available, with individual grant awards ranging from $5,000 to $100,000, depending on the scope of the project.

A pre-application information session is scheduled for March 12, and grant applications will officially open on April 1.

Eligible applicants include nonprofits, government agencies, faith-based organizations, and fiscally sponsored projects that serve residents of Chaffee County.

More information about the grant and application process is available at chaffeecommunity.org.
