The Chaffee County Board of Commissioners is meeting today at the courthouse in Salida.
On the agenda:
- A grant award agreement between Chaffee County Public Health and the Caring for Colorado Centennial Fund for the Reproductive Health Safety Net in Rural Colorado project.
- Discussion of Common Ground Citizen Advisory Committee 2025 grant amendments.
- Consideration of the appointment of an interim county administrator.
Commissioners will also hold an executive session to discuss:
- Legal advice regarding conservation easements.
- The City of Aurora Water Court application.
- Questions regarding enforcement of federal immigration laws.
- Legal advice regarding an alleged arrest incident involving the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office.
