Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze released a press release announcing that fire restrictions in Chaffee County have been lifted.
From the press release: Due to moderating conditions over the past week, including cooler temperatures and widespread moisture, I am lifting Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for unincorporated Chaffee County effective 0600, Thursday, October 7, 2021.
The USFS lifted their restrictions effective immediately on October 6th.
