Chaffee County Commissioners will conduct a regular meeting today beginning at 9 am.
Commissioners will review and decide on the Special Event Permit request from Bonfire Entertainment for Meet Me At The Creek. A music event scheduled for September 24 and 25 at The Meadows in Buena Vista.
Chaffee County Commissioners will also consider imposing a temporary cap on short-term rental licenses in unincorporated Chaffee County.
Commissioners will convene at the 1041 permit authority at 1 pm to continue the Nestle Waters/Blue Triton process for a 10-year extension of their 1041 permit for a bottled water operation in Johnson Village.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
