Chaffee County Commissioners will hold a work session today beginning at 9 am at the courthouse.
Commissioners will meet as the Landfill, Human Services and Public Health Committees.
Commissioners will also hear reports from Building and Planning and Office of Housing.
Chaffee County Commissioners are scheduled to meet with U.S. Representative Doug Lamborn at 4 pm.
A regular meeting of the Board of Chaffee County Commissioners will take place tomorrow at the courthouse.
Commissioners will discuss the upcoming 7 Peaks Music Festival with staff and will hold two public hearings that concern a townhome project on County Road 160 and a well site for the Town of Poncha Springs.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
