Central Colorado Writers will begin accepting entries for its 5th annual Youth Writing Contest on Monday, with submissions open through March 2. The contest encourages young writers in the community to explore their creativity and develop their writing skills.

This year’s theme, “Secrets,” invites participants to reflect on hidden truths, untold stories, and imaginative interpretations through their work.

The contest is divided into two age-based categories: the Junior Division for youth ages 10 to 13, and the Senior Division for ages 14 to 18. To ensure a fair review process, submissions will be limited to 75 entries per age group.

Entry guidelines and submission details are available at CCWriters.org. Each division will award a grand prize of $400 to the winning entry.
