The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is gearing up for multiple highway construction projects across the state’s mountain regions, including several in Central Colorado.
🔧 On Colorado 82 over Independence Pass, three key projects will target road resurfacing and safety improvements, enhancing this vital scenic and travel corridor.
🛣️ Additional resurfacing work is scheduled for:
- Highway 24 from Divide to Woodland Park
- Highway 285 from Pine Junction to Bailey
- Colorado 67 through Teller County
Drivers traveling these routes should be prepared for:
- Reduced speed limits
- Lane closures
- Delays during construction hours
