The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is preparing for multiple summer construction projects across the state’s mountain regions, including several in Central Colorado.

Key projects include:

  • Colorado Highway 82 over Independence Pass – Three projects are planned, focusing on resurfacing and safety improvements.
  • U.S. Highway 24 – A resurfacing project is scheduled between Divide and Woodland Park.
  • U.S. Highway 285 – Crews will work from Pine Junction to Bailey.
  • Colorado Highway 67 – Resurfacing is also planned in Teller County.
