November 16, 1955 ~ April 4, 2024 

Carol Ann (Bondurant) Kerrigan died on April 4, 2024, in her home in Howard. Mrs. Kerrigan was born in Salida, CO to William and Aileen Bondurant and graduated from Salida high school. Mrs. Kerrigan married (Allen Jones) and moved to Howard where they had three kids, two of them twins.

Raising twin boys, Bennett and Kenny, taught Carol many lessons in life. She met Kendell later in 1994 and they got married and were together at her time of passing. Carol and Kendell shared a love for the outdoors and enjoyed backpacking, camping and four wheeling. Carol made a living out of cleaning and taking care of the elderly here in Arkansas Valley. She volunteered in the ambulance and fire department in Howard. Her grandkids were her favorite people in life. Mrs. Kerrigan was preceded in death by her son, Bennett J. Jones.

 Mrs. Kerrigan is survived by her Husband of 29 years, Kendell; her daughter Jennifer (Alex) Price; son Kenny (Brook) Jones; grandkids, Emily, Nile, Landen, Dezaraiy, William, and Bennett; Brothers Mike (Patti), Gary (Vicki), and Kenny Bondurant. Carol’s sister Joyce (Bondurant) Putnam died a short four days after her own passing. The two sisters were very close.

A Celebration of Life for Carol and her sister Joyce will be held at 3:00 PM on May 4, 2024, at 6942 County Road 45 in Howard, CO.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
