The annual BV Freedom 3K and 5K runs will take place Saturday morning in Buena Vista.
The fundraising race winds through downtown Buena Vista and along the Arkansas River Trail, finishing before the Fourth of July parade begins at 10 a.m.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Buena Vista High School Cross Country teams and youth programs at CrossFit Thin Air in Buena Vista.
