The Town of Buena Vista’s next municipal election will take place on April 2, 2024, to elect three Trustees to serve a four-year term of office. 

Also, one additional Trustee position with a term expiring in 2026 is open. 

If you are interested in being a Town Trustee and would like additional information, stop by Town Hall to pick up a Candidate Information Packet and Board of Trustees Handbook, or you may access the documents on the Town website at buenavistaco.gov. 

If you decide that you would like to run for office, the next step will be for you to stop by Town Hall on January 2nd to pick up a nomination petition. You only need to obtain signatures from ten registered Town of Buena Vista voters to become a candidate.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee.
