The Town of Buena Vista has issued its best watering practices for the summer months to help conserve water and reduce stress on the municipal water system during peak demand.
Key guidelines include:
- No watering on Mondays
- Odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
- Even-numbered addresses may water on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
- No watering between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Water only during cooler times of the day — early mornings and evenings are recommended
Residents are encouraged to follow these practices to help ensure a sustainable and healthy water supply throughout the season.
