Buena Vista Trustees to Consider Drone Event, Lease Amendment, and Natural Medicine Ordinance at Tonight’s Meeting

The Buena Vista Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting tonight at 7 p.m., with several policy and planning items on the agenda.

Among the key business items, trustees will consider approving a policy exemption that would allow Mountain West UAS to host a celebratory drone event at the town’s drone park on June 27. The board will also review the first amendment to the Sportsmens Club ground lease.

In addition, trustees are expected to request assistance from the Colorado Aeronautical Board through a State Aviation System Grant to support local aviation-related initiatives.

Another item scheduled for consideration is an ordinance that would amend the municipal code regarding natural medicine businesses.

Prior to the regular meeting, the board will hold a work session with the Short-Term Rental Committee beginning at 6 p.m. The session is intended to provide updates and discussion related to short-term rental policies before the evening’s formal meeting begins.
