The Buena Vista Board of Trustees will conduct a regular meeting tonight at 7 pm.
Under the consent agenda, Trustees will reappoint Luke Urbine and Rick Bieterman as regular voting members and Casey Martin as an alternate member of the Recreation Advisory Board and vote to approve a DOLA grant to be used for construction of the new Buena Vista Police Station.
Under business items, Trustees will consider the Stackhouse annexation, will revisit the moratorium on the conversion of existing apartment buildings into condominiums, and will receive the 2021 4th quarter financial report.
A work session will precede the regular meeting at 6 to discuss a water rate study.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
