Buena Vista Edges Salida in the Chaffee County Showdown

For the first time since 2010, the Buena Vista Demons and Salida Spartans went all the way to five sets in the Chaffee County Showdown.

Salida took set number one 25-15, but the Lady Demons came back to win the second 25-16. The Spartans stepped up and won the third set 25-16, but the Demons would not be silenced. Under Hannah Wingo, the Demons forced a fifth set and then went on to win the fifth 22-20.
