It was a great day on the course for the Buena Vista Demons cross country team, as they captured first place on the girls side and were able to place 4th on the boys side at the Regional meet in Rocky Ford.
The girls were once again led by Malory Salazar and Molly McMurry who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Alexis Santopietro finished in 12th to round out the team score four points ahead of Rocky Ford.
The boys team was paced by Roston Sherlock finishing in 4th place with Jack Helmke taking 14th and Isaac Hutchings at 17th for a 4th place finish behind St. Mary’s, Sargent and Rocky Ford.
