The Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce announced to its membership that former Director Liz Morgan has left the Chamber.  In the letter to membership, the chamber board said that they cannot share the details of the split but wanted to be transparent.  They said they know there will be questions about this transition, however, there are limits to what they can say.

There is no interim director, but the board said they are confident in their ability to manage day-to-day operations.  A search for a new director will begin right away. The board is looking to hire someone who aligns with their values and vision.

In the meantime, the board says work continues of the 4th of July parade and Gold Rush Days.

The letter to all Buena Vista Chamber members ended with an invitation to get involved in the chamber.  Volunteers and those wanting to be future board members are encouraged to contact the BV Chamber
