Buena Vista attorney Dale Enck has been arrested and charged with four felony counts related to allegations that he stole thousands of dollars from an at-risk person for whom he had power of attorney.
The Mountain Mail is reporting that Enck was arrested by Colorado Springs Police after they were contacted by a security analyst from Credit Union of Colorado who said approximately $100,000 in checks had been written from the account of a 91-year-old Colorado Springs woman by her power of attorney, Enck.
The analyst told investigators the woman’s credit card had payments to Disneyland Resort and other charges made in California.
Enck’s bond was set at $25,000.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
