According to Heart of the Rockies Radio columnist Joe Stone, Chaffee County Commissioners just voted to approve the Blue Triton 1041 permit with new conditions.
New conditions include a recent offer from BlueTriton Brands to contribute $100,000 plus annual contributions of $10,000 for 10 years to fund water projects in Chaffee County.
Commissioners Greg Felt and Rusty Granzella voted in favor of approving the 10-year permit with Commissioner Keith Baker voting against.
After voting to approve the 1041 permit, the Commissioners began discussing permit conditions and directed County legal counsel to draft preliminary permit conditions to be reviewed at the July 20th County Commissioners meeting.
