A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the Spring, Decker, Junkins, and Hayden Pass burn scars, as well as the Chalk Cliffs and Cottonwood Creek areas.
The Flash Flood Watch is in effect through 11 pm tonight.
Numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. These storms will be capable of producing torrential rainfall.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 85 today. Look for an overnight low of 55.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 81, a low of 51.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 67 with a low of 43.
