Barry Morphew, the man accused of killing his wife Suzanne in 2020 and concealing her body in the San Luis Valley, was released from the Alamosa County Jail on Friday.
Morphew had been held on a $3 million surety bond. Friends and supporters posted $300,000 to a bondsman to secure his release.
As part of his bond conditions, Morphew will remain under strict house arrest until trial. He is prohibited from drinking alcohol or using drugs and must surrender his passport.
