Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell is reporting that as of October 26th, a total of 2,146 ballots have been returned.
Ballot returns continue to trend upwards this mid-term election. At this time in 2018 only 1,300 ballots had been returned to the clerk’s office.
The Salida vote center is open at the Scout Hut. Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to noon on Saturday.
The Buena Vista vote center at the Community Center will open on Friday, November 4th.
The Poncha Springs vote center will be open on Election Day.
Colorado voters can visit GoVoteColorado.gov to register to vote or update their voter registration, find their local county clerk, sign up to track their ballot and find accurate election information.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
