A freeze has decimated the Colorado peach crop.
Governor Jared Polis has declared an emergency which allows farmers impacted by the freeze that wiped out significant portions of the state’s peach crop to seek federal aid.
Peaches account for 75% of state fruit production with nearly $40 million in revenue.
