Chaffee County officials have started the process to get businesses back open.
The Colorado Brewers Rendezvous beer fest, originally scheduled for July 11, has been postponed.
Stage II Fire Restrictions are in place for Chaffee and Lake Counties along with the Town of Buena Vista and all BLM lands in Chaffee, Lake and Park Counties.
Chaffee County Public Health is reporting that there are now 58 cases of COVID-19 in the county.
Chaffee County Public Health’s current order stands through April 30th.
Scattered showers and light snow will continue over the mountains today.
A chance of rain and snow showers are back in the forecast for today and tomorrow. Winds will be gusting to 40 mph out of the west.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a mostly sunny high of 63, a low of 35.
“Stay-at-Home” orders expire at the end of the month. Governor Jared Polis yesterday announced that some restrictions will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
Rain is likely today for the valleys. Accumulating snow over the mountains is also probable with the chance for 4 to 7 inches a snow above 9,000 feet.
