Meet Smokey! She’s the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pet of the Week!
Smokey was transferred in from the Humane Society of Pikes Peak in Pueblo who was overcrowded. While we have an almost full dog room at AVHS, we only had a handful of cats in our adoptable cat room last week, we were extremely happy to be able to help out and welcome in 5 new wonderful cats last Friday.
Smokey is one of these cats. She is a loving 2-year-old female grey tabby and wonderful gal. When you go to her kennel, she will immediately request pets and love! We think Smokey will do great with kids in the home, we aren’t sure how she will be with other dogs or cats as she has no known history.
