Ark Valley High Rollers will host a New Skater Night tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds, inviting community members to learn more about the sport of roller derby.
The event is designed for those interested in trying roller derby as well as skaters looking to improve their skills in a supportive environment. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of the sport, meet league members, and practice skating techniques.
The cost to attend is $10.
