The 2020 Olympic games this year are always going to draw a big crowd, but for the second straight Olympics, the mountains of Colorado are hoping to send their representative to the games in Tokyo.

Sophie Herzog won silver in the breast stroke in the 2016 Rio games, and has been training in Salida under the Spartans swim coach Wendy Gorie. As Herzog makes the push for the games, we were fortunate enough to talk with her about the journey she has been on, working with the high school team and what her move from the training center in Colorado Springs to Salida has been like, and finally what it will take for her to qualify once again.

Oh, and we talked a bit about her recent world record in the 1500 free, as well as her record in the 200 breast stroke.
