Amazon is hosting a community information meeting tomorrow night from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buena Vista Community Center to share plans for a new delivery facility in Buena Vista.
Company representatives will provide information and answer questions about the potential annexation and rezoning of property in Chaffee County.
According to Amazon, the proposed project would represent an investment of $25 to $32 million, including construction of a 25,000 to 50,000 square-foot building on a 10-acre site located off South Railroad Street.
The company says the new facility would create around 25 full- and part-time jobs, with an average wage of about $30 per hour.
