The Salida Spartans soccer team and the Buena Vista and Cotopaxi volleyball teams were both well represented in the All-State lists released by CHSAA this week.

The Salida boys soccer team, which made a deep run to the semi-finals this year, saw three names added to the list. Quinn Bosanko has earned 1st team honors for the Spartans, while Bowman Russell and Nico Wilson earned honorable mentions. Lake County did see Jonathan Chavez earn honorable mention at the 2A level for the Panthers.

On the volleyball court, there weren’t any deep playoff runs, but both Cotopaxi and Buena Vista made appearances at regional tournaments, earning BV’s Lindsey Pratt an honorable mention, while Koylynn Gulliford led the Pirates with 2nd Team All-State honors ahead of Shealee Coleman who earned an honorable mention.
